Sikkim BJP to Hold State Presidential Election Today

Gangtok: The Sikkim Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to conduct its state presidential election at its headquarters in Singtam on January 25.

This election is expected to be a key event for the party in the state as it prepares to elect a new leader for its state unit.

V. Muralidharan, appointed by the national leadership, will oversee the election process as the official observer.

His presence is crucial to ensuring that the election is conducted smoothly and transparently, upholding the integrity of the process.

Currently, DR Thapa serves as the President of the BJP State Unit, and today’s election will determine whether he will continue in his role or if a new leader will take the helm to lead the party in Sikkim.
