Assam: College Student injured after being attacked by wild buffalo in Morigaon

Guwahati: A college student in Morigaon, Assam, was injured after being attacked by a wild buffalo in the Nagaon area.

The incident occurred when the student was reportedly in the vicinity of the animal, which had been roaming freely through fields near Manipur village, not far from the regional Forest Officer’s office.

The injured student was immediately rushed to Morigaon Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

Fortunately, no other injuries have been reported, but the wild buffalo has been causing growing concern among local residents over the past few days.

Authorities have been closely monitoring the buffalo’s movements, as it continues to pose a threat to the safety of people in the area.
