Assam: Pabitra Margherita Meets Ambassadors to Strengthen Bilateral Relations
Assam: Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, held a series of meetings with the outgoing Ambassadors of Thailand, Myanmar, and the Dominican Republic, as well as with the Ambassador of Chile, to discuss ways to enhance diplomatic and economic relations with India.
Margherita began by meeting Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, the Ambassador of Thailand, as she completed her tenure in India.
On social media, Margherita expressed his appreciation for her contributions to strengthening India-Thailand relations, wishing her success in her future endeavors.
Later, Margherita met Mr. Zaw Oo, the Ambassador of Myanmar, to discuss matters of mutual interest, including ongoing development cooperation between the two countries.
He also met with Mr. David Puig, the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, who is set to conclude his mission in India. Margherita thanked him for his role in promoting bilateral ties and wished him well for his future endeavors.
In addition to these meetings, Margherita also met with Juan Angulo, the Ambassador of Chile, earlier in the day. They discussed ways to further enhance bilateral relations, with a particular focus on expanding trade and economic cooperation.
The discussions reflect India’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with its global partners and explore new avenues for collaboration across various sectors.
