Guwahati: A man accused of being a vehicle lifter was arrested by the police in Guwahati, Assam.
He was arrested with a bike suspected to be stolen.
The accused was arrested following a well-coordinated operation by the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD).
This operation was initiated by the Basistha Police Station team, with assistance from the Khetri Police Station.
The arrest came regarding the theft of a bike bearing the registration number AS01DL5534 from Bamunpara, Lokhra.
During the operation, one stolen bike and one master key was seized from his possession.
Further investigation is being carried out by the police.
