Sikkim MLA Arun Upreti Reviews Progress of Road Construction Under Smart City Project

Gangtok: Sikkim’s Arithang Constituency MLA Arun Upreti visited the construction site of the road connecting Indira Bypass to the Police Barrack in Gangtok, part of the ongoing Smart City Gangtok project.

During the visit, Upreti engaged in discussions with project officers and the contractor, reviewing the progress and ensuring that the work is on track for timely completion.

Upreti emphasized the importance of high-quality roads for public convenience and smooth connectivity.

He highlighted the need for strict quality control during the construction process, stressing that the road must serve the people for years to come.

The MLA commended the efforts of engineers, laborers, and contractors for their hard work on the project.
