Shillong: Multi-genre artist Kayan, renowned for blending R&B, electronica, and dynamic beats, will set the stage for international superstar Ed Sheeran’s performance at JN Stadium in Shillong on February 12.
As an emerging name in India’s independent music scene, Kayan’s energetic and diverse style promises to kick off an unforgettable night of music.
Sheeran’s concert, part of his globally successful “+ – = ÷ x Tour,” will showcase his unique loop station technique, where he crafts layered compositions live, without the use of backing tracks or a full band. Each performance is a one-of-a-kind experience, as Sheeran creates beats, harmonies, and melodies in real-time, with all loops erased after the show.
Fans can expect a mix of Sheeran’s iconic ballads and high-energy hits, including his rap-infused track “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You,” which highlights his versatility as a musician blending rapid-fire lyrics with his folk-inspired sound.
