Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh’s sporting prowess was on full display at the 38th National Games, with athletes delivering outstanding performances. Taekwondo sensation Khinsan Wangsu soared to victory, capturing a gold medal and solidifying her position as a rising star in the sport.

This impressive achievement garnered praise from Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who commended Wangsu’s unwavering dedication and hard work. “Wishing you even greater success in the future—keep shining and making us proud!” the chief minister expressed on Twitter.

Adding to Arunachal Pradesh’s medal tally, kayaking prodigy Devi Dada made history by securing a bronze medal in the Kayaking Cross event.

This landmark achievement not only brought glory to the state but also significantly elevated Arunachal Pradesh’s standing in the realm of water sports.

Chief Minister Khandu extended his congratulations to the young athlete, recognizing her accomplishment as a source of inspiration for aspiring sports talents across the state.
