Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Hails BJP’s Historic Win in Delhi Elections
Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed joy over the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, calling it a historic mandate that reaffirms the people’s trust in the party’s vision for development.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address from the BJP headquarters, Khandu emphasized the PM’s commitment to revitalizing the Yamuna River, upgrading infrastructure, and creating a clean, safe, and enabling environment for Delhi’s citizens.
Taking to his official X handle, CM Khandu stated, “In his address from the BJP HQ, Shri Modi reiterated BJP’s commitment to revitalizing the Yamuna River, ensuring world-class infrastructure, and fostering a clean, safe, and enabling environment for the citizens. He expressed his special gratitude to mahila shakti and the middle class.”
Khandu further described the electrifying atmosphere at the BJP headquarters, where enthusiastic party workers celebrated the long-awaited return of the BJP to power in Delhi after 27 years.
“February 8, 2025 ~ An evening every karyakarta in BJP will cherish for a long time to come, for this opportunity of watching the party winning Delhi Assembly has come after a long hiatus of 27 years,” he tweeted.
