BSF Foils Infiltration Attempt in Meghalaya, Apprehends Three Bangladeshi Nationals
Shillong – The Border Security Force (BSF) in Meghalaya successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt along the international border on February 10, apprehending three Bangladeshi female nationals.
Acting upon specific intelligence, vigilant troops of the 4th Battalion conducted an operation in the East Khasi Hills district, intercepting the individuals while they were attempting to illegally cross the border. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
In a separate incident, security personnel conducted a well-coordinated special operation in the East Khasi Hills district, leading to the apprehension of an individual attempting to infiltrate India from Bangladesh near the international border. The operation was initiated following the detection of suspicious activity along the border, resulting in the swift apprehension of the individual.
