Assam’s Infrastructure Boost: 4-Lane Gauripur Bypass Project on NH-31 Approved

Guwahati: Assam is set to enhance its road infrastructure with the 4-lane Gauripur Bypass project on NH-31, a major development aimed at improving connectivity and attracting investment. The Rs 206.88 crore project will ease transportation across key areas like Dumardoha, Khudimari, Fulkumari, and Baladmara, ensuring smoother routes for both local and commercial traffic.

Project Highlights:
• The bid, dated September 2, 2024, was awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder, who quoted Rs 206.88 crore for the project.
• The Letter of Award (LOA) has been issued, with the successful bidder required to sign the contract agreement within the prescribed timeline.
• The bidder must submit Rs 6.2 crore as performance security, along with an additional performance security of the same amount, within 30 days of receiving the LOA.
