This marks one of the largest drug busts in the region this year, reflecting the intensified efforts of Assam Police to combat the growing drug menace in the state.

During the operation, officers recovered a staggering 40,000 YABA tablets and 260 grams of heroin. One suspect has been apprehended in connection with the seizure and is currently in police custody.
