Sikkim Olympic Association President Honors MLA with Chief Patron Role, Discusses Future of Sports in Sikkim
Gangtok: In a significant gesture towards strengthening the sporting landscape in Sikkim, Kuber Bhandari, President of the Sikkim Olympic Association, visited the MLA of Soreng-Chakung Constituency at his residence this morning. During the meeting, Bhandari conferred upon the MLA the title of Chief Patron of the Soreng Area Sports Association (SASA), acknowledging his unwavering support for the growth of sports in the region.
The meeting centered on the progress of sports in the state and the recent performance of Sikkim athletes at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, where the state secured two bronze medals.
