Assam: Manah Constituency Witnesses Landmark PMAY Approval Letter Distribution
Guwahati: In a significant stride towards bolstering housing infrastructure, the Manah Legislative Assembly constituency recently hosted a distribution event for approval letters under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). This initiative, aimed at providing affordable housing, saw a substantial number of beneficiaries receiving their crucial documents.
The event was graced by the presence of key dignitaries, including Gautam Das, Executive Member of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), MLA Phanidhar Talukdar, and Councilor Jay Musahari. Their participation underscored the government’s commitment to the successful implementation of the PMAY scheme in the region.
This distribution was part of a larger statewide endeavor, spearheaded by the Assam Chief Minister, who virtually launched the process. The statewide initiative resulted in the distribution of approval letters to a remarkable 3,88,358 individuals. Specifically, within the Manah constituency, a total of 3,714 beneficiaries were granted their approval letters, marking a substantial impact on the local community.
A large gathering of beneficiaries attended the event, each personally receiving their approval documents.
