Arson Attack on Assam’s Balipara Reserved Forest: Prompt Action Saves Ecologically Valuable Sal Saplings

Guwahati: A devastating fire ravaged a Sal tree plantation within the Balipara Reserved Forest on the night of March 25. The blaze, allegedly set by unidentified miscreants, spread rapidly, engulfing several valuable Sal saplings and causing significant ecological damage.
