CRPF Extends Support to Meghalaya School through Civic Action Program
Shillong: The 67th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has extended its support to Shankar Dev Vidhyapith Lower Primary School in Meghalaya. This initiative is part of the CRPF’s civic action program, which aims to foster stronger ties between law enforcement and the community.
The school, established in 1961, has been a cornerstone of education for generations. However, it has faced challenges in keeping up with modern infrastructure and resources. Recognising this, the CRPF stepped in to bridge the gap, ensuring that students continue to receive quality education.
Danesh Rana, IPS, Inspector General of CRPF, led the initiative. The CRPF’s efforts reaffirm their role not just as a security force but also as a pillar of community development.
