Arunachal: Pasighat Police Bust Gambling Den, Three Detained with Cash and Equipment

Itanagar: In a late-night operation on March 27, 2025, Pasighat Police in Arunachal Pradesh raided an illegal gambling den in the Paglek area, detaining three individuals and seizing cash and gambling equipment.

The raid, conducted around 11 PM, was led by Sub-Inspector K. Tangha from Pasighat Police Station under the supervision of SDPO Dr. Akanksha Milind, IPS, following credible intelligence inputs.

During the raid, three individuals—identified as A Moyong, B Panyang, and C Perme (names changed)—were caught engaging in dice gambling and taken into custody. Police recovered ₹32,000 in cash, 12 yellow dice cubes, two black plastic drums, an electric lamp, and a red floor mat from the scene.

A case has been registered under the Arunachal Pradesh Gambling (Prohibition) Act, 2012, at Pasighat Police Station. Authorities confirmed that further investigations are underway to identify others involved and dismantle illegal gambling networks in the region.
