Tripura Youth Set Sail for Hospitality Careers with Free Training in West Bengal
Agartala: Forty-seven aspiring young individuals, comprising 20 young men and 27 young women from Tripura, have commenced an exciting journey to Barasat, West Bengal, to participate in a comprehensive three-month free training program focused on the burgeoning tourism and hospitality sector.
This empowering initiative is a direct outcome of the Chief Minister’s Skill Development Project, forged through a collaborative partnership between the Skill Development Department and the Tourism and Hospitality Sector Skill Council, demonstrating a strong commitment to nurturing talent and fostering employability among the state’s youth.
The departure of the enthusiastic group was marked by a flag-off ceremony held at the Model ITI (Women) building in Agartala, where Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited Chairman Nabadal Banik officially commenced their journey towards skill enhancement and career opportunities.
The intensive training program will be expertly delivered by Ascentive Educare Limited, with a clear objective of providing the trainees with the essential skills and knowledge required to gain meaningful employment in esteemed hotels and various industrial organizations throughout the nation.
During his address to the departing trainees, Chairman Nabadal Banik underscored the pivotal role of core values such as honesty, unwavering dedication, strict punctuality, enduring patience, and diligent hard work as indispensable ingredients for achieving professional success in any field. He further highlighted the proactive measures undertaken by the state government through diverse initiatives designed to empower unemployed youth and pave the way for their self-sufficiency and economic independence.
