Guwahati: A pall of concern has fallen over Chowhata village in Salbari as news emerges of a serious road accident involving one of its residents.
Pranab Basumatary, a 23-year-old driver hailing from the village, sustained critical injuries in an unfortunate incident that occurred earlier today.
The distressing event prompted a swift and commendable response from the local community. Displaying remarkable presence of mind and compassion, residents in the vicinity of the accident site immediately came to Basumatary’s aid.
Their prompt action ensured his rapid transfer to Barpeta Medical College and Hospital, where he is currently receiving critical medical care.
