Gangtok: Amit Chettri, the Assistant Technology Manager at ATMA, under the Agriculture Department of the Sikkim Government, has been lauded for his exceptional service to the state’s agricultural sector. He received the esteemed ‘Best Performance Award’ at the recent State-Level Kisan Mela, a testament to his unwavering commitment and impactful contributions.
The Agriculture Minister of Sikkim personally presented the award to Chettri, acknowledging his significant role in advancing agricultural development across the state. Chettri is currently stationed in the Rhenock Block of Pakyong District, where his dedication and innovative approaches have consistently benefited the local farming community.
This recent accolade adds to Chettri’s already impressive record of service. He has previously been recognized with two Meritorious Service Awards, one from Education Minister Raju Basnett during Independence Day celebrations and another from the District Collector of Pakyong at the District Kisan Mela.
