Guwahati: Criminals attacked on duty Assam doctor physically in the Tinsukia district on Saturday.
Tikendrajit Sarma, a doctor, was allegedly beaten by a few miscreants who broke into the hospital. At the Kakopather Zonal Primary Health Center in Doomdooma, the incident took place.
The assault’s motivation, however, has not yet been determined.
At the Kakopather Police Station, Dr. Sarma has filed a complaint against the attackers.
To find the attackers, the police have begun a search operation.
