A ULFA-I member was Apprehended in Arunachal
Guwahati: A member of the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) was captured in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday night.
Dwipen Asom, the accused cadre’s name, was apprehended close to Noklok village along the Indo-Myanmar border.
He is now being held in an Assam Rifles camp at Khonsa in the Tirap district of Arunachal.
It has been discovered that the cadre recently fled from the camp.
A suspected ULFA-I (United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent) cadre was recently detained in Sonari, in the Charaideo district of Assam.
Khanjan Nath, the arrested cadre’s name, was apprehended near a stone crusher on the Sonari-Namtula route.
He was also in possession of a 7.65mm pistol, one magazine, and three rounds of ammo.
