AAP Appoints Raghav Chadha as Leader in Rajya Sabha
National Desk, 16th December: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has designated Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha as the new leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha, succeeding Sanjay Singh. According to sources, this decision was prompted by Sanjay Singh’s health issues, as communicated through a letter to the Rajya Sabha Chairman.
Sanjay Singh, the previous leader, is presently facing legal matters related to the Delhi liquor policy case and is currently in detention. In light of this, Raghav Chadha will assume the role of the party’s leader in the Upper House. The official announcement was conveyed through a letter, which is now with the Rajya Sabha Secretary General for further action.
Raghav Chadha, known for his active involvement and as one of the youngest members of the Rajya Sabha, is set to lead the AAP contingent in the Upper House. With a total of 10 MPs, the AAP continues to play a significant role in parliamentary proceedings.
