Abducted Assam Youth Handed Over to CRPF after Abduction by Naga Miscreants
Guwahati, 9th August: A young Assamese man named Babu Gogoi was safely returned to the Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) at the border on Tuesday night after being kidnapped by Naga criminals from Torani Indrapur in Merapani.
The incident occurred when Babu Gogoi intervened to obstruct the slaughter of livestock belonging to the Assamese community. In response to his actions, he was physically attacked by Naga miscreants and subsequently abducted.
Family members of Babu Gogoi promptly informed both the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Merapani Police after the abduction took place. The CRPF took charge of the situation and ensured the safe return of the abducted youth by having him handed over to their custody at the border.
This incident highlights the significance of maintaining peace and communal harmony among different communities and regions. Prompt action by law enforcement agencies and security forces is instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and communities.
