Guwahati: One fraudster has been arrested by Guwahati Police in Hatigaon locality of the city on Sunday.
According to reports, the accused was on the run after he stole numerous items from the store where he was working. A lot of other people’s money is said to have been taken by the fraudster without their permission or the shop owner’s knowledge.
The shop owner and locals had filed a complaint against the individual at the Hatigaon Police Station.
The fraudster has been identified as Ali Aziz. He was an employee of AJP enterprise in Hataigaon.
Ali was captured by locals this morning and handed him over to the city police.
He is currently being interrogated by the police.
