Guwahati: Assam police apprehended the two notorious bikers from the gang “Gang of Devil” who boasted about accidentally killing an elderly woman on Tuesday.
The Dhubri Police arrested the two suspects, identified as Akirul Islam who created the video and shared it on social media and Minhajul who was responsible for the accident.
Taking to Twitter, ADGP (Law and Order) GP Singh wrote, “Reference Bilasipara Bike rider gang – The boy who made the video Akirul Islam @ Nur Nabi and the rider Minhajul who caused the accident have been apprehended by @Dhubri_Police @assampolice @CMOfficeAssam”
It is noteworthy that the Gang of Devil boasted in a social media video about how one of its members murdered a woman in a car accident.
Sakina was one of the rebellious bikers who was killed when she was struck by his fast bike in Bilasipara.
The Gang of Devil describing the incident proudly had said, “This biker killed one and came out of lock-up within 10 minutes.”
“This is the power of Gang of Devil and now we are having party,” the group added.
The incident raised questions against the role of Bilasipara police.
