ACA Starts Construction of New Cricket Pavilion in Amingoan

The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) today started construction of a new cricket pavilion in Parade ground at Amingoan. The ACA took a new initiative to develop cricket infrastructure in the state of Assam and recently tied up with Kamrup (Rural) district administration to utilise a portion of the Parade Ground to make it a proper cricket ground. 

Devajit Saikia , Secretary of ACA , Partha Sarathi Mahanta, IPS , Superintendent of Police, Kamrup (Rural) has formally started construction work of the pavillion  in presence of Prasanta Kathkotia ACS, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kamakhya Saikia  and other ACA officials were also present. The ground is expected to host matches by September 2020. 

However originally the pavilion construction work was scheduled to start in the month of March but due the Lockdown it had to be postponed. ACA will soon start construction of cricket ground in Nogaon and Tinsukia with proper facilities after the process of land acquiring is done.
