ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2023: Uday Saharan to lead as India announces 15-member squad
Guwahati, 26th November: Uday Saharan has been appointed as the captain of the Indian Under-19 team for the upcoming U19 Asia Cup 2023 in the United Arab Emirates.
The junior cricket selection committee has finalized a squad of 15 players for the tournament, accompanied by three backup players. Additionally, the committee has announced four reserve players, although the backup players will not be part of the touring team.
Scheduled to commence on December 8, the Asia Cup will witness India facing Afghanistan in the opening match. The tournament will conclude on December 17, featuring India’s matches against Pakistan on December 10 and Nepal on December 12.
The India U19 Squad for the Asia Cup comprises Arshin Kulkarni, Adarsh Singh, Rudra Mayur Patel, Sachin Dhas, Priyanshu Moliya, Musheer Khan, Uday Saharan (Captain), Aravelly Avanish Rao (Wicketkeeper), Saumy Kumar Pandey (Vice-Captain), Murugan Abhishek, Innesh Mahajan (Wicketkeeper), Dhanush Gowda, Aaradhya Shukla, Raj Limbani, and Naman Tiwari.
