Accused in Firing Incident Outside Salman Khan’s Residence Dies in Suicide Attempt

Entertainment Desk, 1st May: In a shocking turn of events, Anuj Thapan, one of the accused in the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, tragically ended his life in a suicide attempt while in the lock-up of the Mumbai Police’s crime branch. Medical professionals at the hospital pronounced him dead following the attempt.

Thapan’s suicide has added a new dimension to the ongoing investigation into the shooting case, which has garnered widespread attention. The Mumbai Crime Branch has been actively investigating the matter, meticulously gathering vital information through the interrogation of the suspects.

The shooting occurred on April 14, around 5 am, outside Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments. Two individuals on motorcycles fired four rounds during the incident. Fortunately, Khan was unharmed as he was present at the scene, and no injuries were reported.

After the shooting, the suspects fled the area, abandoning their motorcycle near a church. They then proceeded to the Bandra railway station via an autorickshaw, later continuing their journey via Santacruz station in another autorickshaw.

Thapan’s tragic demise further complicates the investigation into the shooting case, underscoring the gravity of the incident and the need for a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding it. The Mumbai Police’s crime branch continues its efforts to apprehend the perpetrators and uncover the truth behind the shooting incident outside Salman Khan’s residence.
