A horrendous incident occurred in the state of West Bengal where an Adivasi woman was allegedly dragged to a paddy field and was then ruthlessly gang-raped by three men. The shocking incident occurred in Purba Bardhaman district of West Bengal.
However the three men was also helped by a woman in committing the crime, said by the Police. According to the victim statement the incident happened at Sakra village under Nadanghat police station area when the woman went out of her home to attend to nature’s call at around 10.30 pm.
On her return four persons including a woman stopped her holding a sharp weapon at her neck. They dragged her to a paddy field where the men took turns to rape her while the woman accompanying them helped them, the victim alleged. However the Police has started the initial investigation and assured that the culprits will be taken into possession as soon as possible.
