Afolamukh-Nimati Ferry Service Resumes in Assam After 5 Days

Guwahati, 31st August: The Afolamukh-Nimati ferry service in Assam has been restored after a five-day hiatus. Regular operations have recommenced due to the Brahmaputra River’s receding water levels.

In contrast, the Kamalabari Nimati ferry service will remain suspended for the day.

As the water levels of the Brahmaputra River continue to fluctuate, authorities are working to ensure secure and efficient transportation for commuters.

The reinstatement of the Afolamukh-Nimati route brings relief to travelers, while the suspension of the Kamalabari Nimati service underscores the challenges presented by the river’s variable conditions.
