Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari Reviews Operational Preparedness at Eastern Air Command Conference

Northeast Desk, 7th September: Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), attended the annual Eastern Air Command (EAC) Commanders’ conference held at Headquarters Eastern Air Command, Shillong, from September 6-7. He was received by Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the EAC.

During his visit, CAS Chaudhari inspected a Guard of Honour and was introduced to all Commanders and Senior Officers. He reviewed the operational preparedness of the EAC and praised the personnel for maintaining high levels of readiness and effective response to Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) and civil administration needs.

In his address, Chaudhari emphasized the EAC’s crucial role in maintaining operational readiness and urged all personnel to adopt the Indian Air Force (IAF) doctrine. He called for the transformation into an agile, adaptive, and decisive aerospace power, stressing the importance of keeping up with global technological advancements, including in space, cyber, and electronic warfare.

Chaudhari also awarded trophies to stations recognized for excellence in operations, maintenance, and administration, highlighting the EAC’s continued commitment to excellence and a balanced work environment.
