Air quality of Delhi turns ‘severe’
The air quality of Delhi likely to turn severe from October 25 informed by Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA) October 24, 2020. Delhi’s air quality index has inched towards severe in October 24. The index air quality has reached 366 is the national capital.
Air quality between 0-50 is considered ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’, 401-500 ‘severe’ and above 500 is the ‘severe-plus or emergency’ category. The Delhi wind speed has also reduced to 5-10 kilometers per hour, while the ventilation index was around 10,000 metre squared per second.
