AIUDF Chief Blames Union FM for Economy’s Stagnation
Guwahati: Badruddin Ajmal, the leader of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) attacked Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday saying that “India’s money is with Finance Minister” and that she is obstructing the development of the nation’s economy.
The AIUDF chief poked the government saying that they should be aware of the scenario that has developed because of the increase in the cost of basic goods in the nation.
Ajmal said, “India’s money is with the union finance minister. How will she know how much a person spends to buy? No minister’s salary has increased. The centre should take note otherwise inflation will eat up the government in 2024.”
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also launched a harsh criticism on Nirmala Sitharaman for how she has handled the Indian economy on Friday.
He claimed during a press conference at the party’s headquarters in Delhi that the finance minister “had no conception of what is happening in the country.”
