Neog stated, “We will also lay importance on brain drain. We will see that it does not take place in the state.”
However, the finance minister added that the budget will be made reasonable.
“No department’s files would be held for more than 24 hours,” the finance minister stated.
In terms of tax collection, the minister stated that tax on gasoline has decreased significantly as a result of lower gasoline prices. In addition, the forest department’s tax will be collected in one location. This will be accomplished through the Treasury Department.
Meanwhile, Neog in response to the topic of youth employment said, “Giving work to 1 lakh unemployed young in a year is not realistic. There will be stumbling blocks along the road. We shall continue to do our best.”
“In our state, we want to provide microfinance checks to 28 lakh women.” With a budget of Rs 993 crore, we have already given cheques to roughly 97 lakh women.”
