Akhil Gogoi Referred To Bengaluru Hospital For Heart Treatment
Guwahati: Raijor Dal chief and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi has been referred to Bengaluru’s Narayana Health Hospital after his health deteriorated on Monday.
Akhil Gogoi, who has been receiving treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for conditions relating to the heart, was reportedly referred for better care.
His ability to leave the GMCH today was reportedly approved by the doctors there. He would depart from there and head to Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The Assam MLA will continue receiving treatment at the Narayana Health Hospital.
It may be noted that Gogoi had been hospitalised to a Delhi hospital on October 26 after experiencing a dramatic decline in his health.
