Guwahati: As many as 13 people has sustained injuries in a major road accident in Orang of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Rupa Path in Orang.
According to reports, a vehicle carrying a 13-member football team lost control and overturned on the side of the road.
In the incident, all of the passengers are said to be injured.
Two of the injured are reportedly in critical condition.
The injured were immediately shifted to Orang Community Medical Centre for medical attention.
Reportedly, the football team is from Orang Tea Garden. When the tragedy occurred, they were heading to Tinkharia Tea Estate for a football game.
The vehicle that was involved in the collision has the registration numbers AS 12 CC 0104.
