Guwahati, 10th September: The Cachar Police have taken a man into custody for allegedly impersonating a self-styled spiritual healer, following reports that emerged on Sunday.
According to available information, a video featuring the man went viral on social media, where he was purportedly engaged in inappropriate behavior with a woman while claiming to rid her of the “evil eye.”
In response to the viral video, the police swiftly took action against the individual and apprehended him from his residence in Katigorah, Cachar, on Saturday, according to sources.
The police have stated that the man has been arrested on charges of taking advantage of the woman. The investigation is currently ongoing to determine the full extent of the circumstances surrounding this incident.
