Alliance Air to Connect Guwahati and Ziro with Direct Flights
Guwahati: In a significant development for the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, Alliance Air is set to launch direct flights between Guwahati and Ziro, the picturesque valley town.
According to Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Vivek HP, the airline will operate two weekly flights on Mondays and Wednesdays. The flights will depart from Guwahati at 12:10 PM and arrive in Ziro at 1:25 PM. The return flight will take off from Ziro at 1:50 PM and land in Guwahati at 3:05 PM.
This new air link is expected to give a substantial boost to Ziro’s burgeoning tourism industry. Known for its stunning natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and emerging MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism scene, Ziro is poised to attract more visitors with improved connectivity.
Beyond tourism, the direct flights are also anticipated to benefit local residents, especially those requiring specialized medical care. The quicker and more convenient access to larger cities will enable patients to seek advanced medical treatment without significant travel time.
