Remove the illogical and unscientific restrictions on public transportation which is making public pay double the fare. Run more SNT buses and allow pillion rider in 2 wheelers.
These are the demands for which members of Sikkim Progressive Youth Front (SPYF) have been sitting outside the Secretariat since yesterday. SPYF sat outside the Secretariat all day yesterday and spent the night there to demand these basic rights on behalf of the public.
They state that considering all other protocols are being disregarded by the administration and political meetings and huge gatherings are being organized without following any safety protocols, why should only the common man be made to suffer with these arbitrary restrictions.
