Amarnath Yatra 2023 to Begin From 1st July

National Desk, 3 June: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the “First Puja” of Sri Amarnath through a video conference on Saturday. Participating in the puja, the Lieutenant Governor informed that this year’s pilgrimage will begin from July 1st.

Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir said, “From July 1, pilgrims from different parts of the country will throng the holy cave shrine of Amarnath. The pilgrimage will begin from July 1 and end on August 30. The management is already working to make the yatra a success. ”

Earlier on May 26, Subbar Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting to discuss and evaluate the preparations for the upcoming annual Amarnath Yatra and reviewed the plan for security measures. And a meeting was held to discuss and evaluate the preparations for the upcoming annual Amarnath Yatra. The meeting also conducted a review on the plans prepared on passenger safety measures.

The administration has already assured a proper and hassle free ride for the devotees. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha highlighted the safety of devotees and the facilities to be provided and said that the highest priority of the government is to provide better healthcare and essential facilities to the visitors and service providers.

Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and Baltal in Gondarbal district will start simultaneously, giving devotees the option to choose the best route for them.

According to reports, Amarnath Yatra will begin simultaneously through two different routes from Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal district giving devotees the option to choose the best route for them.

The 62-day yatra, which begins on July 1 and ends on August 31, is an important pilgrimage for Hindu devotees visiting the Amarnath cave, which is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva.

Meanwhile, Sri Amarnath Shrine Board is also learnt to have completed the technical arrangements for direct promotion of morning and evening prayers for devotees coming from all over the world.

This Amarnath Yatra which takes place every year is a remarkable event in the Hindu calendar and attracts thousands of devotees by the temple in the Amarnath cave. Assurance of a hassle free yatra provided by the government to the pilgrims is expected to create an atmosphere of safe and spiritually fulfilling journey to Amarnath Cave.
