Guwahati: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has signed six agreements with four countries. Under which he will launch foreign satellites through his PSLV rocket. These agreements are worth more than Rs 1140 crore. These satellites are to be launched between 2021 and 2023.
Answered to question in the Rajya sabha independent charged minister dr. Jitendra Singh the Minister of State ( for the Ministry of Science and Technology and Minister of state Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Spac said that the launch of 226 foreign satellites would bring a profitable revenue of more than 1140 crore will be made
These foreign satellites will be launched commercially and thew agreements have been made by new India space limited. Till today ISRO has launchged 124 national satellites into the space out of which 12 are made by students. He also said that since 1999 342 foreign satellites from 34 nations have been launched into space. He furtheradded that Through these foreign launch in the last three years i.e from 2019-2021 ISRO has earned 10 million euros that is equivalent to rs 86.48 crore. All the satellites launched till now by ISRO was based on earth observation, scientific experiment and technical display.India launched the maximum no of 226 american satellites 12 england 12 canada 11 germany and 8 singapore satellites. apart from this there are ,many more satellites of other countries launched from ranging 1 to 5 in numbers from India. All over the world isro is known for its cost effective or can say for its cheapest launch and this is the main reason for which countries all over the world contact ISRO for any kind of satellite launch as it is crystal clear for them that isro would successfully launch it in a cheaper cost than any other nation in the world.
