The Lockdown has hampered the alcohol revenue a lot as the sales had been hit by the ongoing pandemic. However there is a good news for alcoholics as the e-commerce giant Amazon got the clearance to deliver alcohol to peoples homes.
However good news came up for Amazon as they secured permission to deliver alcohol in West Bengal. The permission was granted by West Bengal State Beverages Corp. Amazon who have been called to sign a memorandum of understanding with the state of West Bengal . Online groceries like Big Basket also got the permission to deliver alcohol in the state.
