Amit Shah Criticizes Communist Party’s Impact on Tribal Communities in Tripura

Northeast Desk, 15th April: During a massive election campaign at PWD Ground in Kumarghat, under Unakoti District, Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the Communist party for sowing disharmony among the tribal communities of Tripura and hindering the state’s development for political gain.

Shah, who arrived in Agartala on Sunday evening, pointed out the adverse effects of Communist regimes on the people, highlighting issues such as poverty, lack of access to education and healthcare facilities, and the proliferation of armed insurgency among the youth. He contrasted this with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives, such as mainstreaming youth through the provision of laptops and employment opportunities.

Shah emphasized PM Modi’s efforts to honor the Adivasi community by appointing a President hailing from the Adivasi community, marking a significant milestone in their representation in governance.

He praised the people of Tripura for ending the rule of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPIM], expressing confidence in PM Modi’s leadership to usher in a new era of development for the state.

Shah highlighted the increased budget allocation for the Ministry of Tribal Affairs under PM Modi’s leadership, signaling a commitment to prioritize the development of tribal areas in Tripura.

He lauded the recent agreement with Tipra Motha as a crucial step towards ensuring peace and harmony in the region, addressing the longstanding issues faced by the tribal community.

Additionally, Shah commended Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha for his dedication to the development of the state and urged the people to trust PM Modi for achieving further progress.

In conclusion, Shah urged the people of Tripura to support PM Modi’s leadership, emphasizing the need to eradicate insurgency and propel the state towards greater development and prosperity.
