Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive to Guwahati on October 8, according to a statement from the state unit of the party.
According to the release, they will speak to BJP officials and Assamese party members at a large gathering that will take place in Guwahati.
A whopping 40 thousand party members and state leaders will be present at the enormous gathering.
The notification states that the event will be held at the Veterinary Playground in the Khanapara of Guwahati.
Meanwhile, the Assam branch of the BJP dismissed media reports that suggested a potential shift in state leadership as untrue.
