Amit Shah: ‘Nobody Can Encroach Upon Even An Inch of Our Land’

Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the centrally funded “Vibrant Village Program” in Kibithoo of Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.

Speaking at the event, the Union Home Minister stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi prioritises border regions and that the administration operates under the guiding principle that “the security of the border is the security of the nation.”

“The work which the opposition governments could not do in their 12 terms for the border infrastructure, Modi has done it in his 2 terms only,” said Amit Shah.

Shah further added, “Due to the bravery of soldiers of our army and ITBP, no one can challenge the borders of our country, now the time has gone when anyone could encroach upon the land of India, today no one can encroach even on single inch of our land”.

Union Minister launched the “Vibrant Village Program” with the goal of developing border areas and raising the standard of living for residents of border villages in order to further bolster border security.

Under the “Vibrant Villages Programme,” 2967 villages in 46 blocks in 19 districts along the northern border in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and the Union Territory of Ladakh have been chosen for complete development.
