Amul Milk Price Increased by Rs 3/litre
Guwahati: The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. better known as Amul has announced that the milk prices have increased by up to Rs 3 per litre.
The new rates for Amul Gold would be Rs 66 per litre after the price adjustmen. According to the company, the pricing of a litre of Amul Taaza milk will be Rs. 54, a litre of Amul cow milk would be Rs. 56 and a litre of Amul A2 buffalo milk will cost Rs. 70.
This is the first hike in the milk prices by Amul in this year. Amul had hiked milk prices 3 times last year in March, August and in October.
Full-cream milk now costs Rs. 2 more per litre at Mother Dairy, at Rs. 66 per litre while toned milk costs Rs. 53 per litre up from Rs. 51 per litre.
