Guwahati: Anand Mishra is posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Sports) in Guwahati of Assam.
IPS officer Mishra was attached to Assam Police Headquarters after he was transferred from Nagaon, where he was posted as the SP.
“In the interest of public service, Shri Anand Mishra, IPS (RR – 2011), Superintendent of Police, currently attached to Assam Police Headquarters is posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Sports), Assam, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over charge against existing vacancy,” said a notification issued by home department.
