Anu Malik alleged of stealing Israeli Anthem, gets Trolled

Guwahati: As Tokyo Olympics 2020 continue to run on its schedule, Twitter went crazy after the Israeli National Anthem was played at the venue. The reason was somewhere connected to Bollywood. Well, after Indians heard the Israeli National Anthem in 2021, they went back to 1996 taking Anu Malik to a blast to the past.

Songs being copied in the music or film industry has always been there but there were very no records of a country’s National Anthem actually being copied for commercial purposes. Well, Anu Malik took a step forward in 1996 and he “allegedly” copied Israel’s anthem, Hatikvah, and turned it into a patriotic song for a movie.

The Music Director turned the tune of the anthem into the song Mera Mulk Mera Desh for the movie Diljale. When netizens found this, they took it to Twitter.

Here are some reactions that went to Twitter
