Armed Gang of Robbers Looted CSP operator in Assam’s Nagaon
Guwahati: A four-armed gang of robbers looted a State Bank of India Customer Service Point (CSP) operator in Nagaon district of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident took place in the Kaliabor town of the district.
The victim has been identified as Sanjay Mandal.
According to reports, Mandal was robbed while he was on his way to CSP.
He was reportedly ambushed by four motorcycle riders who brandished a rifle and demanded him to hand over the bag he was carrying.
After receiving the bag, the individuals fled from the spot.
Following the incident, he has lodged a complaint with the police and an investigation has been initiated.
Meanwhile, the actual amount robbed has yet to be determined but several important bank-related documents were too taken by the robbers.
