Guwahati: In the Assam’s Nalbari district on Sunday, the people apprehended two offenders using weapons and turned them over to the police.
Locals of the Mukalmua market area reportedly apprehended the two offenders on Sunday morning while they allegedly tried to rob a local businessman.
According to Pabindra Kumar Nath, superintendent of police for the Nalbari district, “We detained both the suspects and found one country-made pistol with magazine and a sharp weapon in possession from them.”
“They had attempted to rob a local businessman. One of them is a wanted felon who was previously detained by the Karnataka Police in connection with a robbery case “The chief of police stated.
In relation to the occurrence, a case has been filed.
